Software Engineer (Full-Stack)June 2026 - September 2026

• Built a Node.js backend with NestJS and a GraphQL API for a communication and reporting product used by multiple organizations.
• Designed the database so multiple organizations could use the same platform while keeping their users, documents, and records separated, with PostgreSQL storing application data and Redis handling sessions and tokens.
• Split the backend into separate services connected through RabbitMQ, allowing different parts of the platform to be developed and scaled independently.
• Built a document-processing pipeline for Excel, PDF, and Markdown files, including ClamAV, SHA-256, extension, and metadata validation. Connected the processed documents to a RAG pipeline so the AI assistant could answer questions using each organization's files.
• Added real-time chat between users and with the AI assistant using WebSocket, allowing messages to appear without page reloads.
• Connected the existing frontend to the new backend for chat, document upload, and the AI assistant.

• Built the PawCare frontend so veterinary clinics could take appointments online instead of scheduling them manually.
• Implemented appointment availability and booking confirmation through the clinic API, allowing clients to see open times and receive immediate confirmation.
• Gave clients, veterinarians, administrators, and reception their own screens, limited to that role's schedule and actions.
• Set up cloud hosting and automated tests so the team could release the product and check changes before it went out.
• Moved from leading the interface work to leading the team, and delivered the product after the team became smaller.

• Built a NestJS backend for an online vinyl store with public catalog access and authenticated customer features.
• Implemented search, sorting, pagination, and product detail pages for the store catalog.
• Integrated checkout with Stripe and a confirmation email after payment.
• Let signed-in customers leave reviews on records.
• Separated staff tools from customer accounts: staff manage the catalog, reviews, and logs, and customers cannot open those tools.
